William S. Wardrop
Managing Partner
Steere Capital Partners
Bill Wardrop is Managing Partner of Steere Capital Partners, a Chicago-based
private real estate investment firm. Making strategic decisions and taking
action as an investor and business leader have shaped his 25-year career.
He served as an executive with industry powerhouses including First Chicago
Corporation (Bank One/ JP Morgan), Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly LaSalle
Partners), and Hines Interests Realty Advisors. He has been instrumental
in capitalizing on market trends and leading clients though successful
development, consolidation, acquisition and globalization initiatives that
exceeded all ROI expectations.
Bill has the innate ability to build long-term client relationships by
leveraging solid operating experience grounded in investment advisory services,
asset/portfolio management, and consulting. Wardrop has helped lead service
innovations, revenue growth, and market share, and has launched products
and services in global markets. He is a financial leader who has consistently
managed assets to enhance corporate value and drive higher returns.
Wardrop currently serves as a board member for several academic, healthcare,
and civic/philanthropic organizations including the Northwestern University
Alumni Advisory Board and the Northwestern University Center for Real Estate
Research. He is also a member of Urban Land Institute and The Economic
Club of Chicago and formerly served on the boards of The Latin School of
Chicago and Grant Hospital.
Wardrop holds a BS in Economics from Miami University, and an MBA from
Northwestern University and served as an adjunct professor in the finance
department. Wardrop began his career with Owens-Illinois, Inc. where he
held various sales, marketing, and manufacturing positions. |
