The Team - Biography
Robert Patin
 Bob Patin is an executive coach with more than 30 years experience in the
C-suite. Most recently, he was CEO of CNA Life and Group Operations, which
is among the top 50 life insurance companies in the United States. Previously,
Patin was President of BIG IDEA Productions where he created a high performing
organization, coached the creator and founder of the company, and led it
to market leadership in the values-based children’s video market. Earlier
in his career, Bob served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Washington
National Corporation; Chairman of the Harbor Group; President, Insurance
Operations at GE CAPITAL; and Vice President of Marketing & Sales,
Reinsurance Division, Connecticut General Corporation.
Mr. Patin has a proven track record maximizing and leveraging senior-level
talent across multiple industries to achieve aggressive bottom line results.
He has coached senior executives during his entire career, both as the
CEO of multiple corporations, and in not-for-profit and civic leadership
development initiatives. He is highly skilled in one-on-one interviewing
to elicit critical information, and certified on multi-rater instruments.
Mr. Patin currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Advanced Group
(Chicago, IL) and Relltech Consulting (Northbrook, IL) and has served on
the boards of a variety of educational and community organizations including
the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University and the Global board
of Junior Achievement. He received a B.A. in Psychology and Foreign Languages
from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. |
