The Team - Biography
William A. Holland
 Bill Holland has been in the forefront of grooming business leaders for
more than 30 years. An accomplished senior executive, Holland led the worldwide
senior executive consulting practice for Drake Beam Morin (DBM), served
in senior human resources roles with Sears Roebuck and Co., and was Vice
President of Urban Investment and Development Company, one of the largest
mixed-use real estate development companies in America.
Holland practices what he preaches when it comes to organizational transformation,
leadership development, and customer service. He opened six regional offices
for DBM; reorganized corporate HR operations for Sears -- including the
relocation of 14,000 to the Sears Tower, and built employee and customer
centric business environments for high-profile hotel, recreation, entertainment,
retail and professional service organizations with Urban Investment and
Development Company. He is an executive coach and counselor to Fortune
500 executives and entrepreneurs, and has provided real-world guidance
to drive progressive changes in the business culture, leadership philosophies
and strategies to gain optimal value out of a business’s most valuable
asset – its people.
He has served as Chairman and President of numerous school and community
boards of directors, including the University of Wisconsin Business School
Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Chicago Association of Commerce
and Industry, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the American Management
Association, the Human Resource Management Association, and an active member
of The Economic Club of Chicago, The University Club of Chicago, and The
Tower Club.
Holland holds a BA from the University of California in Los Angeles, and
also attended Northwestern University in Evanston. |
